A superior B and B
The White Lodge fully deserves the kudos it gets. Ann and Martin run a wonderful B and B. The house and furnishings
are modern, of high quality, immaculate and comfortable. Our room was large, quiet, well appointed, and had a view of their beautiful garden. Ann and Martin are friendly hosts with loads of information about the area.
The breakfasts were excellent with many options to choose from. As a small but telling example of the quality you'll get
at White Lodge, in many places a "fruit salad" for breakfast would probably consist of some melon pieces, grapes, and maybe a few wilted strawberries or pineapple chunks. Ann's fruit salad was a huge bowl of the freshest strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Ann and Martin are accommodating hosts who really do know how to run a B and B. The White Lodge is out in the countryside. Though it's not that far from Lewes or Glyndebourne, you'll need a car or a taxi to get there.

Always a pleasure to stay with Ann and Martin at the fabulous White Lodge. Excellent breakfast, the homemade bread is a highlight, really comfortable beds, and so many delightful touches to create a truly relaxing and memorable stay

White Lodge B&B, a lovely place to stay
We spent a few lovely days at White Lodge. Ann and Martin are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and kind.
The contemporary house is great and everything is spotlessly clean and tidy. It is a relaxing place in a peaceful, quiet
and green location. The house has a guest lounge with access to a lovely garden to enjoy and with pheasants coming over. Comfortable room, beds are good, towels soft. Bottles of fresh water and home made cake in your room daily.
Delicious breakfast, whatever you want is there. Ashdown Forest is on your doorstep.
If we were to stay around here again, we would stay at White Lodge with pleasure.
